Yes it is true. School has once again started for the fall semester. The first class day was this past Monday. This semester I'm teaching 3 sections of Introduction to Engineering and also 1 section of Dynamics. Dynamics is the only new prep and thus will consume the most of my time. One of my Intro sections is being taught as part of the 'college in the schools' program. Basically I'm teaching the course over at Mahtomedi HS to juniors and seniors who have enrolled at Century and are getting both elective credit for their HS but also college credit for the course. Mahtomedi HS also has a state of the art fab lab (very similar to the one at Century), so i'm looking forward to this different experience.
At home, Colin is very near to crawling! For the past week, he has been getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. Of course he hasn't succeeded in moving his hands and knees in the right order and will normally set himself back down or face plant into the carpet when trying to move. Usually you can tell he is trying pretty hard to get somewhere, and he will give up on crawling and go back to rolling across the room to get where he is trying to go.
Colin is at a really fun age. He loves to explore and play. Here are a few pictures, enjoy!
