November already?

Here we are, election Tuesday. I have managed to vote, workout, and we've hit 16 weeks for Baby K2 today! November has been a fun month so far. Nana and Papa visited this past weekend and it was a fun, but short, weekend. We went to visit Alcatraz and Colin had his first non-family member babysitter (so that we could go out to dinner)! He was already bathed, read to, and put to bed for her, but I think it still counts :P
Walking up to the top!
Colin behind bars - hopefully not a future trend!
Aunt Jenni on Broadway
We had fabulous weather all weekend and we enjoyed it at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo before Nana and Papa had to head out of town.
Carousel! He was unsure at first, but was grinning wide by the end!
All statues are climbable!
Colin did much better feeding the animals this time :)
Tightrope walking with Daddy.
He found these pumpkins and had to rearrange them, from here...
to here, one by one. We had to drag him away.
Tuckered out on the way home.
November has been also full of new sounds which we've dubbed alien-speak. Colin is experimenting with new consonants and vowels (mostly consonants) and they often come out as grunts, gurgles, or other unspeakable sounds. Overall they are just an amusing mixture of bee-boo-grk-gahs, but at least we're making progress! He's also starting some imaginative play that is really sweet. They are activities mostly centered around his puppy - as shown below. Happy 21 months, Colin!
Puppy gets rides on camel!
He loves puppy!
Puppy needs some water to drink (notice puppy is also buried under some of Colin's favorite toys)
