I finally got around to taking some photos of my mother's day present from Colin. Colin got me one of my favorite things, plants and dirt! We got all the makings of a wonderful rail garden; 2 36" planters with rail attachments, one for herbs and one for flowers! They are already growing, though we'll see how well they do with only the morning sunlight that the rail gets (faces almost directly north).

I also took a mini road trip this past weekend. One of my best friends was having a baby shower a mere 5 hrs away, and since that is about as close as we get, I decided to pack up the baby and drive 5 hrs down on Friday, attend the shower, then drive 5 hrs back on Saturday with just myself and Colin. Colin actually did pretty well, he only had a 10-15 screaming fit on the way into Carroll, IA, and managed to sleep most of the rest of the time both there and back.
It was so good to see Kristen and the Ehler's clan. Kristen is definitely sporting the baby bump and had a wonderful shower, hosted by her sisters. Thanks again for letting me crash at their place and feeding me dinner!

It was so good to see you and meet Colin! Thanks for making the long trip and for the baby items. You're such a good mom. :)
