Our poor little almost 1 year old has been so sick the last few days. He caught a bad cold and he is a coughing, snotty mess. He even had a fever for a day or two and was feeling pretty miserable. There were times when he was just playing on the floor and would lay down to play so he didn't have to hold his head up. So hard to see my baby like that. On the upside, when he is feeling miserable, he is more cuddly. I didn't mind holding him a bit more than usual - considering most of the time he won't sit still for me to cuddle him at all.
As of yesterday he did start acting a little more perky. We didn't have to dose him with ibuprofen all day yesterday and he managed to make it through. He still is pretty snotty and has a horrible mucousy cough, but is hopefully on the mend. Now here's to hoping that Bob and I aren't infected with some mutation of what Colin has....
