8th tooth

Poor bottom jaw... we noticed an 8th tooth about 1 day after we noticed the 7th. No wonder the poor child has been irritable! In addition to the bottom jaw looking puffy and irritated, it now looks like the top jaw is starting to join it. Before soon we may have a mouth full of teeth!

I also wanted to share a few of the Easter pics we took. If you haven't noticed, Picasa has been morphing over to Google+ and the transformation is now complete, so we took the time to update my picture links on the side of my blog as well. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for you to find interesting pictures and also help us stay a little better organized!

Dying eggs the day before Easter. He couldn't really help... next year!

Happy Easter! All dressed up.

I found one! Bring the basket!

I found them all!
We had a pretty fun weekend this past weekend. The weather was pretty wet and cold, so we didn't spend as much time as we wanted outside, but we did take our weekly trip to the library, spent some time in Central Park (indoor arboretum building where library is housed), and also took in Colin's first band concert yesterday :) He did pretty well at the concert, sitting through 2 songs before needing to get up and move, then listening to 2-3 more songs while he 'danced' in the back (gotta love informal concert settings). There was a pretty funny moment where he was dancing and another baby came near. He stopped dancing to watch the other little one, and also started backing up to where he thought momma was. Of course, instead he hit the legs of another mother close by instead. So of course, I just bend down to his level and say hello, to which he smiles and does his 'hi mommy' look, then the realization set in that if momma is over there... who is this!?? So he looks up and then ran back into my arms pretty quickly.

He is getting a little harder to walk with on the paths outside. He is so easily distractable! He more often than not just runs across the path getting from one patch of grass to the next. He did do well on our walk to the park last night though. He walked to the playground, let him play for a little while, then let him push the stroller back towards home. He did very well! Turns out if he is distracted by pushing, he doesn't veer or stop to pick up objects near as frequently. Of course those distractions still happen, and having jasper along is the perfect method for getting him back on the path and moving forward.
