About two weeks ago, we went to Half Moon Bay to see the Pacific Ocean. It was a little windy and cool, but Colin really enjoyed the sand. He didn't even seem to mind the water, wading in past his ankles (which given the temperature of the water, was pretty impressive).
We are also busy exploring all of the parks within walking distance to our temporary home. Colin LOVES to slide, and has been working on all of his climbing skills on the various apparatuses (apparati?) in order to get to said slides.
We even went on a bay walk near Daddy's work! It was a gray foggy morning (as most are the closer you get to San Fran proper), but we managed to have a good time running around collecting rocks and sticks.
We've also had a visit from Aunt Kate. The pictures below are from Happy Hollow Park and Zoo which was a very age appropriate venue for Colin. We recommend it if you are in the area. With admission to the park you get all the exhibits and rides for free!

Alright, well this post is getting a little long. Look for part 2!
