One week to go

One week left with all of our 'stuff'. Movers are packing up our belongings on Monday, the car is being picked up, and the pets are being picked up and flown to SF to await our arrival later next week. Seems surreal with everything we have left to do - most looming on my schedule is finishing my class, getting everything graded, and getting my office picked up and ready to move.

We've managed to have a little fun in the midst of our chaotic moving/working/seeing people before we leave schedule. Colin and I went to the Sea Life aquarium (in the mall of america). He was very into the fish compared to last time. He could've spent an hour looking through the walls/ceiling of the shark and turtle hallways. He got very excited and was pointing with both fingers and exclaiming at all the different animals - it was pretty cute :)
Look at this fish, mommy!
I see another one!
We also spent some time with Nana and cousins; here are some pictures of a recent water balloon/gun episode on the Kuczenski's back deck. Colin was already on his second outfit for the day, so he is a little stripped down.
Enjoying the water with cousins!

Last, but not least, I spent a long weekend with my sisters in Vancouver. It was such a good visit, and we had a great time! The first day we went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge which also included some tree top adventure and cliff walks. The bridge was a little frightening as it moves considerably as you (and others cross it), but it was an awesome park. On the second day, we visited Granville Island to shop and visit the public market then had a spa day to relax afterwards. On the final day, we rented bikes and rode on the seawall surrounding Stanley park. We stopped at some breathtaking views and at the beach for a little ocean time (freezing water!) and had lunch outside the park. That evening we went to English bay (well on the Burrard St. bridge) to watch some fireworks. It was a wonderful weekend, with great weather and good company :) I'm glad to be home and see my boys, but always sad to say goodbye to sisters!
