2 weeks!

We made it to another milestone! Colin is now 2 weeks old. We just got back from his 2 week wellness visit with the pediatrician and he's doing so well that we don't have to go back until his 2 month mark. He is measuring very well, near 50% for everything - head size, weight, length, etc. He now weighs a whopping 8 lbs 6.5 oz, though to be fair, he had eaten relatively recently. Here are a few recent pictures (the rest can be found at https://picasaweb.google.com/rkuczens/03Months#)

Bottle time with dad - Colin actually helping rather than playing defense.

LOVE little baby feet.
This week we've done a lot of new things with Colin. It has been so warm here, that we've gone on a couple of walks around the neighborhood. It was a little icy and snowpacked a few days ago, but since then, the paths have cleared off and many even have dry asphalt shining through. It is quite pleasant out again today - so maybe we'll attempt a little longer of a walk - gotta get back in shape somehow!

We also started some tummy time with the little guy every evening. This of course is great for building up his muscles and giving him additional vantage points of the world, but also serves very well for keeping him awake in the evening when we would like to keep him up so he sleeps a little better at night. He's done very well, able to pick his head up enough to turn in from one side to the other and back again several times.

We also just started with his cloth diapers! We are figuring out the finer points of how to make a cloth diaper as effective as possible on such a tiny little butt, but are hopeful that we will figure it out in due time.

Thanks for the baby legs Faith!
